EGBG AD 2.20  LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1   Airport Regulations

  1. Use of aerodrome outside operational hours is strictly PPR.

  2. Use of aerodrome for night flying on Tuesday and Thursday is PPR

  3. Asphalt parking area on the runway is not to be used while runway 15/33 is in use. Alternative parking will be available on the grass at the side of the tower or on the hard standings to the rear of the control tower.

  1. Grass runways and taxiway are subject to waterlogging, especially in winter, and may be closed without notice for long periods.

EGBG AD 2.21  NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

  1. Avoid overflying local villages.

EGBG AD 2.22  FLIGHT PROCEDURES

1  Circuits

  1. Fixed wing circuits left hand on Runways 10, 33, 22, 34 and 24. Fixed wing circuits right hand on Runways 28, 15, 04, 16 and 06.

  2. The standard overhead join is preferred for fixed wing.

  3. Fixed wing circuits will be at 1000 FT QFE.

  4. Helicopter circuits are to the left on runways 28, 15, 04, 16 and 06. Helicopter Circuits are to the right on runways 10, 33, 22, 34 and 24.

  5. Helicopter circuits will be at 700 ft QFE.

  6. The standard fix wing join is overhead. Aircraft should not descend below 1200 FT QFE on the deadside due to the helicopter circuit below at 700 FT QFE. Helicopters will join their circuit downwind.
